This is false. Lego shop at home has the double VIP points promotion carrying through to Oct. 25. I just snapped a pic on my iPad. Unless I’m missing something completely.

Note that the UCS MF is excluded from the 2x VIP offer. Will probably always be excluded. The free set is very nice.

There were loads of Saturn V's in Leicester Square yesterday, so it isn't like LEGO doesn't have any. I got my London Bus. So when is the next double or triple points? - need to start saving again.

Ucs mf excluded for double and tripple points??? Really getting fed up with legos pricing etc... think i quit my hobby at exactly the right time..

?! Since when has 75192 been excluded from double VIP? Thats the whole reason I didn’t get it on 9/14 was so I could get it now!

I just looked on the US site and the fine print on the VIP double point promotions does not say that there is an exclusion of the MF. Moot point anyways since it is not in stock and I am guessing that they will suddenly have them in stock after the double points end. At least that is what the cynic in me is assuming.

Whew....it’s on till the 25th in the US. I have a huge project I’m sourcing and was worried I’d have to purchase all today. The title of this article is so misleading.

It appears Double VIP points are also available till the 25th in Canada. This is stated as the case both on printed store calendar as well online.

@Dude45 Um, who told you that? The LEGO.com webpage clearly states that the 75192 Millennium Falcon qualifies for 1599 VIP points with purchase. It's only excluded by the fact that it's currently out of stock. There's no reason why LEGO would exclude it from bonus VIP points promotions.

I keep on seeing comments on the Internet about how LEGO is intentionally withholding the Falcon because they don't want to distribute double points. But this makes no sense as the points are correlated with how much money is being spent, which means that there's no difference to LEGO if someone buys four Slave Is or a single Falcon.

myscrnnm I see your point about getting double points regardless of set. The reason why I feel like they won't release the MF before double points is over is because they have it as out of stock and not as back order. With back order you can still order, out of stock does not allow you to order. Seems kind of weird because they say they are making more and will notify VIP members if you opted in on the email notification that they just don't let you go ahead and order so they actually know how many to make. Unless they are going for a super limited release to keep the aura of this set being the Ultimate of the UCS sets.

@Phonegal I concede that that's certainly not a possibility I had considered. But to play devil's advocate, the Saturn V, which sits at a significantly lower price point, is also temporarily out of stock and not available for backorder. Given that these are probably the two most sought-after sets in LEGO's current catalog, it's possible that they are not available for order because LEGO is already aware of the level of demand for them, and do not want to open up backorders because they do not believe they would be able to fulfill demand in a reasonable time frame.

^ Check a physical LEGO store if they have Saturn V in stock - in the US you can walk in and get the double points with it that way thru october 25th.

I imagine any ongoing production of UCS MF is first fulfilling backorders from september. To get double or triple points on VIP purchases, the set must be available for purchase and bought during the time of the points promo, so those would not apply for this points promo round.

I don't think we will see status of the UCS MF change from 'temporarily out of stock' until all existing backorders have been shipped. And then it would only be available to VIPs logged in as such, probably thru the rest of this year. Hoping that will be in time for the november offer. Nevertheless, there should be plenty of opportunities to have it available with a points promo all of next year (we just won't have a chance to get the black VIP card after the end of this year).

Here's an interesting addendum : according to the Ts&Cs of the double points offer (for NZ) it was running until the 15th, which was yesterday, but it's still being advertised with a prominent front-page banner today. The Ts&Cs also clearly state that 75192 UCS MF is excluded (but as pointed out already, the lack of availability means the exclusion is moot).

Don't you wish TLG would just have a consistent worldwide approach to everything? Promotions, sales, offers, gifts, Ts&Cs, stock availability, .... SET PRICING!!!

@Block-n-Roll Where in the terms and conditions does it state that the 75192 is excluded from the offer? I changed my region to New Zealand and cannot find any mention of this under Promotions, the FAQ, or the Terms and Conditions sections of LEGO.com. But I did find evidence in the form of only 999 points for the set priced at $1,499 while other sets yield over 1 point per NZD spent.

^ Scroll to the bottom of the front page and click "Offers and Promotions", then the Terms & Conditions are at the bottom of that page (I assume it's the same for other regions).

But don't bother looking - it seems they've finally realised that it's the 16th now and all references to the double points promo have disappeared.

Surprisingly, the Saturn V is still out of stock. Cynicism temporarily suspended.
